Touchstone Spring Update

We’re already into the fourth month of 2023. After the long, cold and grey January to March months, we’re finally experiencing the warmth and blossoming of springtime. Even with the dislocation, separation and economic uncertainty of the pandemic during the past two years, Touchstone’s work has continued fruitfully, and our 2022 yearend financial needs were met.

As always conversations in person and virtually are still the life of our work. Many have been heavy conversations around loss and illness, but many have been joyfully engaged about vocational opportunity, leadership of our groups and connecting friends for mutual help and encouragement.  Many younger men and women have been finding the value of spiritual friendship while our veterans who are facing issues of aging and changing identity are grateful for the long-standing friendships built over decades.

Five retreats are in the schedule for different groups, and it’s been wonderful to give and receive friendship in person – those still in the waiting stage are really pumped to be together after the years of virtual relationship.

We’ve also just posted another of Norm’s occasional podcast videos on our website. It’s an inspiring story of a faltering street ministry in Toronto revived by Erinn Oxford - Executive Director of The Dale Ministries, that has become a very fruitful thing 10 or 12 years. We invite you to view, read or listen to it on our website at: https://www.touchstone.ca

Thank you for your faithful financial and prayer support. This spring and summertime are typically very slow for donations. Would you please consider contributing monthly or quarterly this year, so we don’t have to rely on the last quarter to meet our financial commitments.

There are several ways to contribute – by cheque, online, direct deposit or securities. This link will connect you to Touchstone’s Donations page on our website.     https://www.touchstone.ca/donations

Thank you for considering this.

Yours in Christ,

Sincerely,
